While pet cemeteries have been available in many communities, burial in a pet cemetery can be an expensive option. Many still may choose to bury their pets in their forty acres but most communities now have very strict restrictions on zoning, health department at the burial of pets. Today, families have become more mobile and may desire the ability to take your family pet remains with them when they relocate or they may feel more comfortable with a memorial visible, tangible of your beloved pet. All are reasons why more pet owners are opting for cremation and up to 70 percent of homeowners are opting to get their pets’ ashes after cremation.
